Role Purpose:
To lead and manage the end-to-end transition of new facilities management contracts and ensure robust engineering operations across all sites. This includes planning, mobilization, governance, asset onboarding, and technical performance assurance across the client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Transition Management
Lead transition projects for new client accounts in FM, ensuring zero service disruption and adherence to contract SLAs.Develop detailed mobilization plans including HR, procurement, technology, SOPs, and compliance.Coordinate with cross-functional teams (finance, HR, procurement, legal, ops) to ensure all elements of transition are aligned.Stakeholder management: Act as the primary liaison between client, internal teams, and third-party vendors during mobilization.Engineering & Technical Operations
Oversee hard services delivery (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, civil works, DG, UPS, STP/WTP, etc.).Drive engineering excellence through preventive & predictive maintenance practices.Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and audit readiness.Guide energy management, sustainability, and asset lifecycle programs.Champion tech adoption: BMS, CAFM/CMMS platforms, and digital engineering initiatives.Team Leadership & Development
Lead a team of engineers and transition managers across geographies/sites.Conduct technical training, upskilling programs, and performance evaluations.Support recruitment and onboarding of technical personnel.Client Engagement & Reporting
Provide clients with transition status updates, engineering KPIs, and project reviews.Present business cases for CAPEX, system upgrades, and retrofits.Resolve client concerns related to engineering performance and technical compliance.Key Result Areas (KRAs)

Key Skills & Experience Required
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering (mandatory)10–15 years in Facilities Management with at least 5 years in a senior role handling transitions and engineeringHands-on with FM operations, engineering systems, statutory complianceStrong project management and communication skillsFamiliarity with FM tech platforms like IBM Maximo, SAP, Archibus, etc.Why join Cushman & Wakefield?
