**Job Description :**
The role is responsible for the design of Utilities, ESG, productivity, Distillation and spirits equipment, Projects related to utility design of Bottling and packaging projects, ensuring standardization of design, adherence to good engineering standards and codes, and to ensure that the project / facility is designed in line with the best technology for the business requirement. The role is also responsible for scouting out and validating new ESG technologies and upgradations for productivity and reliability of equipment.
Our ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels. They will actively engage with cross functional and operational teams, to ensure delivery of pan India Utilities & Distillation Engineering Projects On time & In full.
The successful candidate will be organized and self-reliant, handling their own workload and priorities while solving problems and supporting process and equipment improvement projects.
**Qualification** : • B.E. in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering
Experience: • 12-15 years experience in Engineering projects and 3-4 years of experience in Utilities through projects/maintenance
Knowledge & skills: • Knowledge of Utilities and services
• Experience in AutoCAD
• Experience in engineering design
• Experience in Microsoft Project
**Responsibilities**
Leadership
• Lead the design of manufacturing facility and equipment specification as suited for the project
• Responsible for ensuring that leading industry practices are followed to generate state of the art engineering designs in the involved projects.
Functional
• Ensure that all the special/large utility equipment designs are as per good engineering standards and compliant to EHS standards of USL
• Explore new technologies to develop subject matter expertise in utilities design / selection and advise on possible implementation into USL facilities
• Ensure there is standardization in the design & Make across sites for the Utilities projects
• Carry out Safety audit at regular interval during field visits
• Responsible for ensuring process safety implementation in green field and brown field projects
Design & Planning
• Work with the concerned team to provide the design and specifications for the project
• Work with process SME and the unit engineering team and balance out the capacities and recommend based on the utility requirement by the process.
• Lead in preparation the CIR for distillation & utilities projects as per requirement.
• Work with External consultant to prepare FEED, Concept Design.
• Prepare project charter and RASCI matrix for all projects
Final commissioning
• Accountable for the KPI delivery of the equipment/project by assisting in the final commissioning and demonstration of the deliverables along with the project manager
