International Manufacturing Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at our San Antonio Assembly Plant.

 

This position will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and be the lead in developing and updating General Assembly production processes through the analysis of data. In this position, you will work directly with R&D, Quality, and production on improving product and process design concepts and ensure the systems are building the trucks to the correct specifications. The position will also be responsible to work directly with the AME team to ensure any installation and commissioning of new equipment is on time, within budget and meets the metrics defined during new program launches.

 

San Antonio Manufacturing runs a 4x10 production schedule (Mon-Thurs, 5:30AM - 4:00PM).
This role will support production and may need to cover production recovery times including Fridays and weekends as needed.

 

Responsibilities Sustain and improve assembly process through the analysis of dataProvide feedback to R&D on DFA requirements and design concept improvementsProject lead for upcoming general assembly process and tooling related projectsDevelop general assembly conceptsDevelop and contribute to internal SOW's for projectsDevelop, monitor, and maintain the integrity of the product and processEvaluate and manage external and internal products and processes to ensure processes are met for all components delivered and processed through the STX facilitySupport analysis of new models through readiness meetings Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degreeAt least 8 years of product manufacturing experienceAt least 1 year lead experience

OR

Master’s degreeAt least 6 years of product manufacturing experienceAt least 1 year lead experience

OR
