Position Overview International is seeking a Senior Lead Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at our Powertrain Manufacturing Facility in Huntsville, AL! The Senior Lead Manufacturing Engineer will be an integral part of the planning, development, and implementation of assembly equipment and processes to support the launch of a new powertrain platform. Responsibilities Support Advanced Manufacturing Engineering in assembly layouts, equipment purchase, qualification, and installation Act and represent International in a global production team Be the voice of production to product development Perform research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly sequence, assembly methods and production equipment investments Standardizes manufacturing processes by benchmarking other manufacturing facilities Coordinate pre-series builds and production launch of the new product including establishing goals, training team member, and evaluate and act on results Assist in the accomplishment of plant quality objectives Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree At least 8 years of product manufacturing experience At least 1 year lead experience OR Master’s degree At least 6 years of product manufacturing experience At least 1 year lead experience OR At least 10 years of product manufacturing experience At least 1 year lead experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
