Responsibilities:

 

Work with Engineering teams, MTC, outside suppliers, and the manufacturing plants, during the introduction and support of product. Reduce manufacturing costs, apply vertical integration, and achieve 10-year volumes. Work in a team environment, engaging employees to develop and expand manufacturing capabilities of internal and external processes. Provide manufacturing expertise in the areas of plastic processing. Work with the Crown plastics team on the "Crown Plastics Center of Excellence Vision" Focused leadership with the "Manufacturing Principles and Commitments" in mind. Demonstrate a strong commitment towards our current Manufacturing Break Through Objectives. Develop detailed business cases for new manufacturing processes and present them to the leadership team. Mentor, coach, teach, and develop Manufacturing Engineers in plastics processing. This position will report to an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager in New Bremen, Ohio.

 

Qualifications:

 

8-15 years of related experience. Associate Degree Must have extensive background in plastics related technology. Must have valid driving privileges. Frequent travel (5-15%) Frequent overnight stays (5-15%)

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, with extensive experience in an injection molding environment. Strong background in injection molding process and tooling improvement Ability to integrate NX CAD models for mold ability. An understanding of Mold Flow Analysis software
