Senior Manufacturing Financial Analyst

Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions. **WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:** This position will support our Redwood City, CA manufacturing plant. + Prepare and communicate proactive analysis to support plant initiatives and be engaged in bringing best practices and efficiencies to the plant. + Prepare month-end closing entries and plant performance reports, perform monthly variance analysis of plant spend vs. last year, vs. budget and vs. forecast. + Perform annual standard cost roll and related analytics. + Prepare annual budget and forecasts for operations. + Maintain inventory analysis and reconciliation, cycle count, excess & obsolete inventory process for the plant. + Provide information requested by Audit and Tax department to ensure adherence to policy or meet target. **YOU HAVE:** + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. + 3+ years of relevant experience with journal entries and cost accounting is required. + Must have experience in SAP (or related ERP) in a manufacturing environment. + Skilled problem solver with a strong team-oriented approach. **WE HAVE:** + A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day + At nVent, we believe safer systems ensure a more secure world.
