Senior Manufacturing / Production Operator

Contract Position
$19.75-$24.75/Hour

Responsibilities:
Perform complex assembly and production tasks on electronic and mechanical subassemblies, including modules, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.Read and interpret schematics, work instructions, and diagrams to complete assembly processes.Perform wiring, hand soldering, cable harnessing, and component installation according to specifications.Assemble and terminate cables, ensuring compliance with required standards.Conduct electrical tests and verify continuity on completed assemblies.Perform rework and refurbishment of hardware and systems as needed.Maintain accurate records in shop orders and ERP systems.Operate and maintain tools and equipment required for production.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required.Clearance Requirements:
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.Experience & Technical Skills:
2+ years of experience in cable assembly, electronics manufacturing, or a related field.Proficiency in soldering (J-STD 001 preferred) and crimping techniques.Experience with measuring equipment and performing electrical tests.Ability to use computer software applications for cable sleeving and documentation.Knowledge of assembly standards, wiring, and testing processes.Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs. and sit or stand for extended periods.Your Recruiter Still have questions?
