Position Overview
The Senior Project Coordinator, Implementation supports projects through the coordinating of various departments within the business from project kickoff, throughout implementation, to completion. This position will interface across the entire organization to manage the project schedule and budget for Marine activities with an emphasis on forecasting and reporting risks. The Senior Project Coordinator, Implementation acts as the primary interface between Marine Services and other SubCom departments.
Responsibilities
Responsible for one or more projects Management of project budgets and schedules for Marine activities to ensure accuracy and accountability Coordinate project activities between permitting, marine route engineering, cable engineering and installation planning, terrestrial engineering and construction, Shore End engineering and installation, Marine liaison, Fleet Ops, Jointing and Testing, and SCS (factory) Ensure delivery of contractual project documentation from Marine. Assist with resource management, interface with bids and proposals team and provide customer support Monthly, weekly, and daily project reporting (Internal and external) with an emphasis on risks to be addressed. Risk mitigation and input to management of change process. Project based travel as required (both domestic and international) Contract management, which includes vetting subcontractors, contracting, and managing vendors throughout the project lifecycle Possible management of personnel Coordinating with Subject Matter Experts (SME) in developing and finalizing marine solutions for implementation Developing contract documentation, amending T&C’s language Generate presentations for both internal and external consumption in support of meetings Coordinating the marine solution/message with Sales or PM Generation and maintenance of the following documents: Marine Plan of Work Wet Plant Spare Plan Project contact List Ship Tracking Report – Input only to support TCSC billing Marine Project Kickoff presentation Marine Lesson Learned presentation Monthly spend forecast summaries Project CV tracking document for Marine related items
