Where do you want to go?

Bayer’s new operating model, known as “Dynamic Shared Ownership” (DSO), aims to transform the company by reducing bureaucracy, eliminating hierarchies, and accelerating decision-making processes. Reporting to the Country Divisional Head ANZ, the Senior Market Access Manager supports the broader access strategy development and execution for the Bayer ANZ pharmaceutical portfolio. The role supports and drives the policy agenda and strategic engagement with key stakeholder groups related to access to medicines in both the Australian and New Zealand healthcare systems.

 

Do something that moves you.

Lead implementation of sustainable market access strategy.Collect and analyze data to generate insights for Market Access submissions that jointly create value for customers, patients and Bayer.Provide technical expertise to support the policy agenda and strategic engagement with key stakeholder groups related to access to medicines in ANZ healthcare systems.Develop reimbursement strategies (through collaboration with product team colleagues) and successfully implement these strategies in order to optimize reimbursement and patient access in ANZ.Prepare high quality pricing and reimbursement submissions to the PBAC, MSAC and PHARMAC or other relevant Health Technology Assessment (HAT) bodies.Conduct pricing and listing negotiations as required.

 

Does this sound like you?

University degree/professional qualification in medical science, pharmacy, economics, public health or epidemiology.Good understanding of the Australian and New Zealand healthcare system, reimbursement policy environment and other relevant health policy issues.Strong project management skills.Highly driven, eager to learn, develop and grow.
