Senior Marketing Channel Manager, Rentals
This position is a hybrid role requiring employees to work from our headquarters location in Seattle, WA every Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote all other days.

As a Senior Marketing Channel Manager focused on Rentals, you’ll drive growth by building and optimizing multi-channel marketing programs that deliver the right message to the right renter at the right time. You’ll own strategy and execution across lifecycle, trigger-based, and promotional campaigns, working with large-scale datasets to reach renters actively searching on Redfin.com, Rent.com, and ApartmentGuide.com.

You’ll work directly with an experienced performance marketing team and cross-functional partners in creative, engineering, analytics, and product to ensure campaigns are highly targeted, data-driven, and measurable. Success in this role means driving lead volume, increasing renter engagement, and improving lead quality across channels—all while making lifecycle marketing a key contributor to Redfin’s rentals growth.

The Role 

Execution:

You’ll use our marketing technology stack to design, launch, and refine campaigns across email, push, and other channels to drive profitable growth, renter acquisition, and customer retention at scale

You’ll set a clear vision for owned channel strategy, defining campaign requirements, audience logic, and roadmap initiatives that align with growth and engagement goals

You’ll manage cross-functional timelines and campaign specs, partnering with product, engineering, and creative teams to ensure flawless execution and high-impact delivery

You’ll apply a hypothesis-driven approach to A/B testing, continuously optimizing targeting, creative, and message sequencing to maximize engagement and conversion

You’ll oversee end-to-end campaign execution—from segmentation and QA to launch and monitoring—ensuring precision, scalability, and timely delivery

You’ll collaborate with data and engineering teams to create dynamic audiences, refine segmentation, and build event-triggered or behavior-based journeys that respond to user actions in real time

Operational Excellence:

You’ll implement scalable processes and workflows that improve execution speed, campaign consistency, and overall performance across all lifecycle channels

You’ll identify and remove operational bottlenecks, streamline QA and approvals, and establish documented best practices for efficient, repeatable campaign production

You’ll evaluate tools, integrations, and automation opportunities to scale channel operations and enhance the impact of lifecycle marketing across all of our rentals sites
 

Performance Analysis: 

You’ll work with analytics to uncover actionable insights from campaign performance, user behavior, and channel attribution, using data to drive strategy and prioritization

You’ll iterate on segmentation strategies, message personalization, and frequency optimization to improve user engagement and lead quality

You’ll lead forecasting and performance tracking, evaluating program impact, cost-efficiency, and ROI to inform marketing investment decisions

You’ll communicate campaign results and test learnings clearly and regularly, surfacing opportunities for improvement and informing future roadmap direction

 About You

A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field, or equivalent experience

7+ years of hands-on experience with multi-channel marketing automation (email, push, SMS), Iterable platform experience preferred 

Strong knowledge of integrated marketing across the customer lifecycle, including strategy, customer data, segmentation, and creative content

Proven ability to drive revenue growth and profitability through high-performing direct marketing campaigns

Strong analytical skills to track, measure, and report on results, assess ROI, and translate data into actionable insights (experience with multi-touch attribution preferred)

Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and experience with Snowflake or similar data warehouses, understanding the flow of customer data between systems and marketing automation tools

A self-starter with a proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced, shifting environments

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to evaluate concepts and present recommendations to leadership

A strong intuition for impactful copy and an eye for detail, ensuring error-free and compelling messaging

A user-centric mindset with experience building trust and brand loyalty among customers

Experience working with web technologies (HTML/CSS, JSON) for campaign development

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable disclosure requirements.

Base Pay Range: $112,800.00 - 168,800.00. Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include bonuses and equity.
