Senior Marketing Channel Manager
This position is a hybrid role requiring employees to work from our headquarters location in Seattle, WA every Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote all other days.

As a Senior Marketing Channel Manager on the Performance Marketing Team, you’ll drive profitable growth by building, owning, and optimizing direct mail programs with multi-million dollar budgets for Redfin’s brokerage business. You’ll scale Redfin’s direct mail program into a sophisticated, data-driven growth channel by developing strategies that enhance targeting, personalization, and efficiency—driving new customer acquisition while lowering costs.

You’ll work directly with an experienced performance marketing team and supporting resources across creative, engineering, analytics, and product to ensure direct mail campaigns are high-impact, and flawlessly executed. Success in this role means scaling Redfin's direct mail advertising program into a measurable, high-performing channel that seamlessly integrates with Redfin’s broader marketing strategy.
 

The Role 

Execution:

You’ll leverage our marketing technology stack to design, launch, and refine direct mail and email campaigns that drive profitable growth, customer acquisition, and efficiency at scale

You’ll set a clear vision for direct mail and multi-channel strategies, defining the requirements, initiatives, and roadmap needed to achieve growth and profitability goals

You’ll manage product specs, timelines, and roadmaps for direct mail initiatives, ensuring seamless execution across teams

You’ll use a hypothesis-driven approach to A/B testing, continuously iterating on creative, targeting, and messaging strategies to improve performance

You’ll oversee end-to-end campaign execution, working with engineering and software partners to manage timelines, ensure quality assurance, and conduct rigorous testing

You’ll collaborate with engineering and data teams to create audience files, refine targeting lists, and develop advanced models for audience selection, including trigger-based campaigns to drive response

Operational Excellence:

You’ll drive an integrated marketing strategy by creating and implementing scalable workflows that enhance campaign execution, consistency, and customer engagement across channels

You’ll identify bottlenecks and streamline processes to improve efficiency, speed, and accuracy in campaign delivery, while establishing and documenting best practices for repeatable, high-impact execution

You’ll evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and automation opportunities, working with engineering to enhance the scalability, efficiency, and impact of direct mail and multi-channel marketing

Performance Analysis: 

You’ll use data to inform decision-making, quickly analyzing results, identifying key drivers, and presenting insights in a way that builds trust and cross-functional alignment

You’ll work closely with analytics to refine targeting strategies, improve segmentation, and enhance reporting capabilities

You’ll lead campaign forecasting, assessing financial impact, acquisition costs, and program value to drive smarter marketing investments

You’ll develop clear, detailed reports on campaign performance and test outcomes, highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and opportunities for future growth

 About You

A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field, or equivalent experience

6+ years in performance marketing, with a recent focus in the last 1-2 years on direct mail strategies (preferably B2C)

4+ years of hands-on experience with multi-channel marketing automation (email, direct mail, push, SMS), including platforms like Iterable or Braze; experience with Lob is a plus

Strong knowledge of integrated marketing across the customer lifecycle, including strategy, customer data, segmentation, and creative content

Proven ability to drive revenue growth and profitability through high-performing direct marketing campaigns

Strong analytical skills to track, measure, and report on results, assess ROI, and translate data into actionable insights (experience with multi-touch attribution preferred)

Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and experience with Snowflake or similar data warehouses, understanding the flow of customer data between systems and marketing automation tools

A self-starter with a proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced, shifting environments

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to evaluate concepts and present recommendations to leadership

A strong intuition for impactful copy and an eye for detail, ensuring error-free and compelling messaging

A user-centric mindset with experience building trust and brand loyalty among customers

Experience working with web technologies (Node/JS/TS, HTML/CSS, JSON) for campaign development

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable disclosure requirements.

Base Pay Range: $112,800.00 - 168,800.00. Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include bonuses and equity.
