GDIT’s Strategy and Performance Group (SPG) is looking for an experienced, versatile strategic marketing professional to lead development and execution of high-impact, integrated campaigns supporting objectives for a federal government organization focused on international trade and law enforcement. The selected candidate will collaborate with marketing and communications team members, technical subject matter experts (SMEs), and senior leadership to execute best-in-class marketing programs. The candidate also will welcome the chance to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, distributed-work environment.

Create and execute compelling high-impact marketing campaigns aligned to strategic goalsIdentify marketing opportunities; develop and execute campaign deliverablesWrite content for cross-channel marketing communications such as webpage and social media, thought leadership, briefings, video scripts and other marketing collateralConsult and manage outside vendors and marketing agencies to execute program content including marketing videos, advertising and other productsEstablish consultative relationships with federal program SMEs, business development and capture teams, and program leadershipLead and support special projects as requiredPlan and facilitate meetings on various platforms (Teams, Webex, in-person, etc.) with cross-functional stakeholdersWhat you need to have
Ability to obtain a Level 5 public trust clearance with background investigationBachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Communications, or a related field8+ years of related experience in marketing, corporate communications, brand management, and/or public relations agency experienceExperience working in a federal government setting, particularly international trade or law enforcement programs (preferred)Experience in developing and executing cross-channel marketing campaignsExperience using digital marketing toolsExperience writing and editing webpages, articles, white papers, and other print and digital marketing collateralExperience working with vendors and agenciesStrong writing, public speaking and interpersonal communication skillsExcellent writing, editing and content development abilitiesExperience conceiving and developing content for print and digital platformsDetail-oriented and results and impact focusedWriting samples available upon requestAbility to work independently, exhibiting accountability and ownership for assignments and work productsNatural inclination to engage in brainstorming and troubleshooting exchangesComfortability working on a distributed team while working remotelyComfortability working in a fast-paced work environment with rapidly shifting prioritiesUS citizenship requiredThis a Hybrid role being both remote and in Washington DC. Must be able to be onsite in Washington DC regularly.
