We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our PA/OH/WV/DE Area Transportation Marketing Team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving proposal development to support our growth. You will develop persuasive proposal documents and interview materials, showcasing our engineering capabilities and experience.

Primary Responsibilities

This position works within the Transportation Business Group Marketing Services Team and will work in a collaborative team environment across Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Delaware. The Senior Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting our transportation marketing program activities, including proposal development, capture planning, RFP compliance, client development including interview preparation, writing/editing content, database management, and a range of other marketing tasks. Strong organizational aptitude, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to develop pursuit schedules and work under deadlines with diplomacy are essential. This position requires balancing multiple concurrent assignments while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines. This is not a social media or traditional marketing position. This is an exciting and challenging position ideally suited for an organized, self-motivated person who works well in a team environment.

In the role of Senior Marketing Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

Work with Area Marketing Manager and Business Development Leads, as well as Project Managers and Area Marketing Team to lead the development, organization, and production of proposals and marketing materials, including layout utilizing existing templates and brand standards.Knowledge of procurement processes for clients such as: Ohio Department of Transportation (required), regional transportation agencies and authorities (specifically in Ohio), Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (not required), and is familiar with these client procurement processes, including SF330 government proposals.Evaluate technical and non-technical content; write non-technical text; and edit and proofread proposals and marketing materials for clarity, messaging, and persuasiveness.Develop and/or maintain marketing materials, including resumes/project descriptions, coordinating graphics requests, and writing/editing of non-technical materials.Collaborate with other marketing coordinators, project managers, technical staff, business development leads, and pursuit teams.Assist with storyboarding and message development for pursuits and interview presentations.Participate in capture planning, conduct market research and competitor analysis, assist in developing winning strategies, and provide message development for pursuits.Prepare, update, and organize data in company systems, including pursuit information, project profiles, resumes, references, photography, proposal documents, and other marketing filesBe responsible for timely production and quality of marketing materials.Assist with trade show participation, including but not limited to, developing conference concepts, promotions and artwork, and coordinating booth activities.Support client development / planning meetings and manage action items. Interface with others both inside and outside the firm to fulfill job requirements. Perform other duties as needed.

These marketing activities require self-direction and ability for forward thinking. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills along with the ability to work under deadlines is a must.

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree - degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English or Journalism preferred.Prefer a minimum 5years of marketing experience, primarily in the A/E/C industry and with transportation-related clients. Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong computer skills, creative/graphic design skills and use of other media in marketing proposals, presentations and related collateral materials. Ability to work cooperatively with diverse teams, including technical managers and project staff. Understanding of A/E/C marketing. Willingness to travel between HDR offices, primarily within the Area offices. An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

A minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign Demonstrated "self-starter" with a history of completing projects with limited oversight

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
