The Job: 

This role is responsible for the development of the marketing strategy and ensure campaigns are mapped with a clear view of the customer's journey from start to finish, reporting on ROI and spend.  Identify, develop, and inspire the company brand marketing efforts to be outstanding, forward-thinking, and culturally relevant to Australia and NZ.   

In this role, you will be involved in all campaign development and end-to-end campaign management of Three/ThreeNow biggest initiatives, such as content marketing campaigns (local and international programmes) that will drive engagement with new and existing fans, trade marketing strategies that instill advertiser confidence, and management of other revenue driving channels including YouTube.  Our Pay TV channels also live on many platforms across ANZ.  In this role you would maintain the partner relationships with the teams and strategically view prioritised effort to drive share for these channels.  

 

 

The Daily:  

 

Collaborate with the ANZ Senior Leadership team, media agency, partners (ie Stuff and NZ On Air), in the strategy, development, Pay TV marketing and levering partners and execution of Three / ThreeNow brand and content marketing campaigns. 

Strategy; understand the overall business and marketing strategy and create a marketing plan for the Networks ANZ (FTA, BVOD and Pay TV) business encompassing advertising, publicity, social, trade and direct consumer communications. 

Budget; manage Networks budget and report on the marketing & contra spend. 

Team Management; manage, lead and motivate a marketing team (4). 

 Oversee and support the Marketing Manager and Social Media Manager in the development of paid and owned campaign roll outs. 

Oversee and support the Publicity Manager on local and international talent access, stakeholder alignment and media. 

Manage direct consumer marketing strategies and comms calendars for Networks BVOD brand ThreeNow, setting goals and KPIs, as well as engage consistent learning and education with the support of the external business provider, Braze. 

Manage online revenue strategies for Networks Pay TV brands with the support of an external agency partner.  

Maintain relationships with PR & Marketing teams to help drive support within platform (ie Foxtel, Sky, Fetch) owned assets. 

Stakeholder Management; 

work collaboratively with a variety of internal stakeholders across sales, product, programming/content and the central marketing team to ensure there is buy in to future marketing campaigns and resources are maximised.  

Manage external stakeholders - ensure they are equipped to support our team and campaigns to the highest ability, including media agency, direct marketing business and account managers, digital marketing agency. 

Sales Support; support commercial strategy in the creation of showcase and content moments to help the sales team convert more revenue. 

Work closely with Insights & Research to optimize campaigns based on consumer data and framework mapping, while addressing the need for trend-based, insight-driven solutions. 

Support the team and contribute to developing individual content campaign strategies and crafting meaningful 360-degree campaign briefs that aligns with broader brand, audience, and channel strategies.  

Prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, even if they are at different stages of execution and development 

Deliver comprehensive post campaign analysis documents to discuss with stakeholders. 

 

The Essentials: 

Minimum 10 years' experience working as Senior Marketing Manager with overall responsibility for a brand and its product lines (ideally within an entertainment, DTC or consumer marketing company) and familiarity with the NZ media landscape, are all essential. 

Self-starter who brings campaigns to market, develops new practices, and is dedicated to analyzing growth through metrics. Able to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated.  

Familiarity with audience behaviors and successful content strategies. Capable of extracting consumer and communication insights from our content. 

 

Operate with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. 

Experienced in project management, able to manage multiple projects at a fast pace and high volume. 

Budget management experience.  

Ability to work collaboratively across the organization with employees at all levels. 

Excellent interpersonal skills; Dynamic personality, adaptable, a high-degree of professionalism.  

A leader and team player able to work with colleagues across multiple locations & timezones. Able to work readily and easily with many different personalities in a highly matrixed and international structure. 

Effective collaborator, comfortable working well under pressure with tight and changing deadlines.  

Outstanding presentation and communication skills. Savvy in building presentation decks and visualizing proposals. 

A genuine, enthusiastic and passionate fan of entertainment, pop culture, new trends with excitement for WBD content and product.
