Senior Marketing Manager - Public Sector

We are looking for a Public Sector Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team located in District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia, reporting to the VP of Field & Channel Marketing. In this role, you will develop our marketing strategy in support of Infoblox’s Public Sector business, assisting the team to meet pipeline and revenue goals. Specifically, you will work in lockstep with our Federal and SLED teams to craft a detailed marketing plan to build awareness and create demand within our Federal, State, Local, and Education customers and prospects across the US. You will also own the execution of the marketing plan and its tactical components, including marketing campaigns, webinars, and proprietary events, including user groups and sponsored third party events. You will liaise and partner with the broader Marketing department in various initiatives and collaborate with the Channel Marketing team and key partners to ensure our public sector messaging is aligned across our business.

What you’ll do: 

Work cross-functionally with various stakeholders to develop and execute public sector demand and lead generation campaigns using a variety of tactics, including but not limited to events, email, webinars, paid social, digital, and content syndicationDevelop clear, compelling content to support campaign interaction points, such as email, landing pages, paid social, event messaging, and online and offline campaignsPartner with Sales, Channel/Partner Marketing, Product Marketing, Creative, and Marketing Operations to ensure successful execution and tracking of plansCollaborate with Solutions Marketing to create messaging strategies which can be customized and personalized for sales outreachPartner with Sales teams to facilitate feedback on lead conversion, campaign success, and follow-up plans for leads and interestAdopt a data driven approach to everything you do, which includes tracking, measuring, and analyzing all promotional activity performance, conducting regular public sector pipeline reviews, and developing campaigns to complement and/or offset what we are seeing in the marketConsistently test and enhance marketing activities through measurement and optimizationTrack Public Sector marketing program budget and results to uncover insights for improvement, efficiencies, and cost reduction, and provide routine communications and reporting for all campaigns and eventsContribute to a positive and collaborative environment that encourages information sharing, team-based success, and a strong focus on resultsProtect the security and privacy of Infoblox and its customers

 What you’ll bring: 

10+ years of experience developing and optimizing marketing programs and running omni-channel marketing campaignsExperience marketing cybersecurity to the U.S. public sector required; both state + local and federal experience is preferredDemonstrated proficiency with digital and offline marketing tactics including, but not limited to events, email, paid social, website, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and content syndicationExperience writing and creating campaign assets with excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve shared goals across teamsExcellent project management and presentation skillsExperience managing budget, including allocation and optimizationAccount Based Marketing and partner experience a plusHighly adaptable to changing priorities and can work independently with minimal supervision with a proven ability to meet/exceed goalsUp to date with the latest digital marketing trends, marketing operations tools, and best practices

What success looks like:

Have a robust understanding of Infoblox’s business and the problems we solve for our Public Sector customers and be able to articulate that value propositionBuild relationships internally and externally, with key stakeholders, Sales and Marketing teams, and strategic partnersExecute a number of demand generation programs on your own and through partners and understand they impact they have had through data
