Please log into Workday and click on Menu or View All Apps, select the Jobs Hub app, then click the magnifying glass to Browse Jobs. ***This is a hybrid role that will be based in New York City.** **The associate will travel to events, conferences and trade shows where required and will be expected to travel to attend in-person meetings at hub locations based on an agreed schedule.** **The Senior Marketing Manager is a Global Pet Professional Marketing Lead responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of all aspects of the marketing mix to deliver growth of genetic testing amongst pet professionals (PRO) across our core markets; US, UK, EU and emerging markets; APAC and ANZ. The goal is to accelerate the uptake of genetic testing by veterinarians and breeders to improve health outcomes for cats and dogs.** **With over 20 years’ experience genetic testing and +4million pets tested, Wisdom Panel is the market leader in DNA testing for cats and dogs. The priority for this role is to put Wisdom Panel on the map as the global leader in genetic testing for pet professionals, building upon existing relationships and establishing more opportunities for B2B partnerships within veterinary and breeder communities. This role supports our efforts to diversify the business into new segments, transforming our growth in our B2B channels.** **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** **Drive Marketing Strategy** **Research and build a clear understanding of the pet genetic testing industry for active, in-clinic veterinarians and breeders who bring the next generation of pets into the world.** **Lead the overarching marketing strategy and brand activation plans to support Wisdom’s priorities in the PRO space.** **Own and deploy the Wisdom PRO brand identity and tone of voice to appeal to veterinary professionals and breeders, leveraging the existing brand framework and adapting for new audiences.** **Drive strategic direction of our PRO portfolio for long term growth, collaborating with our product, R&D, ops, packaging, design & creative teams to bring to market and sustain a comprehensive product offering for PRO customers.** **Work with our partners across the Mars ecosystem to support and collaborate on the GTM needs for Wisdom Panel in the PRO space; provide marketing support on ad hoc projects as needed.** **Accountable for the Pet PRO marketing budget, periodical reporting, finance planning support, KPI tracking, accruals, invoicing, and business insights.** **Establish the resourcing requirements for future growth in supporting our PRO channel development, initially this role will not have direct reports, but it is anticipated that within 6-12 months the foundations of a team will be established.** **eCommerce & Growth Initiatives** **Partner with the D2C marketing teams (US & UK) to define and implement a customer acquisition and retention strategy to support growth of our direct-to-breeder stores. Maintain a laser focus on our primary KPI’s of growing and maintaining an engaged and loyal customer base of breeders.** **Oversee the Shopify direct-to-breeder storefront(s) to ensure relevant, on brand messaging to acquire breeders directly into our customer base, partner with D2C teams on the promotional activities. Make recommendations on pricing and promotional strategies based on data driven insights.** **Collaborate with the Product & R&D teams, leveraging customer and market insights to develop new features and propositions for breeders & veterinarians. Partner to successfully deploy the roadmap priorities for these segments.** **Translate the value of new product features and propositions into compelling marketing messages for key audiences in a scientific yet understandable way. Manage the process of briefing creative teams to establish copy, imagery and marketing assets to support product launches.** **Partner externally and internally across the Mars Petcare ecosystem to unlock new opportunities to support the growth of our Pet PRO customer base.** **Awareness & Educational Programs** **This role will fully own all trade marketing activations including presence at industry conferences and events, managing the visibility of Wisdom Panel’s portfolio of genetic tests offered to pet professionals.** **Oversee the outreach program to engage, acquire and retain partnership organizations such as breed clubs, kennel clubs, associations and foundations to ensure ROI.** **Establish a program of ongoing upper funnel marketing activities for Wisdom Panel to generate brand awareness in the PRO space including sponsorships, partnerships, PR, speaker slots etc.** **Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and influencers who can support in advocating for genetic health testing in everyday clinical vet practice and breeding programs.** **Develop and own the educational program(s) for pet professionals, establishing key learning resources for vets and breeders including content, courses, training certificates etc.** **Partner with our internal creative team to define, develop the suite of marketing materials needed to increase awareness, educate customers, partners and pet parents on our products.** **Partner with Corporate Affairs, Scientific Communications to develop key messages and storytelling for Wisdom Panel internally and externally.** **Education and Experience:** **Degree / bachelor’s qualification in marketing or business, or the equivalent work experience.** **At least 6+ years marketing, brand roles, experience of both B2B and B2C marketing preferably within a Veterinary, Breeder or Human Health space with at least 2+ years experience of driving digital / eCommerce sales.** **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** **The successful application will have a proven track record in marketing in the veterinary, pet healthcare or breeder markets. Knowledge of the veterinary or human health industry, brand marketing, digital / eCommerce.** **A very strong sense of ownership and accountability for commercial delivery.** **We’re looking for someone who is equally strategic and comfortable rolling their sleeves up to drive growth – startup experience or experience in working at a tech company is ideal.** **Creative thinker and problem solver with a passion for pet health.** **Strong stakeholder management capabilities, demonstrated by the ability to develop and cultivate relationships both internally and externally.** **Ability to learn market dynamic and new product concepts and product features quickly and make good use of all their capabilities in a new market / territory.** **An understanding of genetic testing in the pet care or human healthcare space maybe advantageous.** **Strong communication skills, the ability to interpret and understand complex scientific concepts and deliver marketing messages to customer segments including sales teams, veterinarians and breeders.** **This role will work with global, local and external partners.** **Travel:** **Will there be notable travel in this position? Yes, domestic and international.** **Percent of time: Approximately 30%** **The Target Pay Range for this position is approximately $113,200 - $150,000 annually.
