The Senior Marketing Manager, Workplace Solutions leverages an understanding of customer, business and market insights to target high-value segments through integrated planning across direct marketing, PR, sales, advertising, digital, events and social media channels. This role requires strong project management skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with others and provide a high level of service to internal stakeholders, and experience in planning integrated campaigns. The Senior Marketing Manager will be a key member of the Workplace Solutions business unit with dotted line accountability to the corporate marketing agency.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Marketing Management (40% of focus)
Collaborate with Suddath Workplace stakeholders and the VP of Marketing to develop the yearly marketing plan, integrating key objectives and overall campaign strategies.Gain and share insights on targeted customer segments, identifying needs and behaviors by industry, product segment and decision-maker/influencer.Understand the competitive landscape and the practices and activities of leading competitors.Stay informed of key marketing and business metrics, using data to drive strategic decisions to grow the business.Ensure compliance with corporate brand standards.Sales Enablement (30% of focus)
Serve as the business unit liaison and subject matter expert (SME) to sales, ensuring needs are adequately captured and projects are delivered on time and within budget. Maintain high levels of communication with leadership for updates, feedback and approvals.Prioritize and support individual ad hoc sales requests, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.Work with the content strategist and creative services to define and develop the portfolio of marketing deliverables for the business unit.Integrated Campaign Planning and Lead Generation (30% of focus)
Work with the marketing center of excellence to develop and plan targeted marketing campaigns in support of business strategy and lead generation.Project manage campaigns from start to finish, ensuring all elements are on time and within budget, and all stakeholders are aligned, informed and mobilized for successful execution.Define qualification criteria and segmentation to generate quality target lists.Collaborate with content to develop compelling messaging maps and key selling arguments for each campaign, including pain points, value propositions and proof points by customer segment and audience.Execute campaigns on an integrated basis, working collaboratively across content marketing, PR, advertising, events, digital, design and sales.Track key performance metrics for each campaign to gauge success (leads, sales, ROI), prioritize spend and effort and drive continuous improvement.Job Skills Required:
