Senior Marketing Specialist, Medical Devices

We have an exciting new opening in the UK for a Senior Marketing Specialist to join our Transcatheter Heart Valve team.

You will be responsible for field execution of our UK and Ireland strategic marketing programs linked to optimization of resources and capacity.

This is a field based role, requiring regular travel within the UK, and occasional travel in Ireland. We can consider candidates based in the UK.

How you will make an impact:

You will collaborate with country marketing manager, local commercial teams, as well as centralised marketing teams to develop expertise and plan the deployment of the strategic programs in the field

Analyse capacity blockages in individual centres and program development

Develop assets to support the role out of capacity enhancement initiatives including identification and inclusion of new practices, training of the team.

Job Specifications:

Support field teams to pitch, deploy and manage the Edwards’ capacity and optimisation programs in UK & Ireland Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implant (TAVI) centres, including regular onsite facility visits, setting of faculty calls and organization of events (from centre opening to certification and re-engagement) .

Run capacity workshops and follow-up to implement identified best practices in close collaboration with nurse programme manager

Support events and congresses as needed


What you will need:

Related experience working in commercial / marketing within a healthcare related setting (Medical Devices / Pharmaceuticals)

 Knowledge of the NHS, its structure and reimbursement systems essential

Experience in running workshop with non-clinical stakeholders is key.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative and relationship management skills. This role will have collaboration and engagement with stakeholders up to c-suite level.

Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills

Substantial knowledge of marketing concepts and principles

Required national travel (with some international): 60% with regular overnight stay

Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels

Degree related to marketing, business, economics, or biological sciences (or demonstrable relevant expertise)

Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
