Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Master Data Management, the Senior Master Data Specialist is responsible for supporting Sales and Manufacturing sites with the maintenance of product master data, to ensure accurate and speedy provision of approved products for R&D, Operations and Sales. They will maintain quality product master data by following, and supporting continuous improvement of, global SOPs/Work Instructions/Trainings for NPI new item creation, extension of items to additional sites/systems, and changes to product master data for legacy items. They will also support the business regarding any product master data projects, such as line moves or acquisitions.
They act as a key member of the global Master Data Management team, enabling growth within Hach.
This position is part of the Global Sales Excellence organization, and **will be Hybrid in Loveland CO, or Ames, IA.**
**In this role, a typical day will look like:**
+ Completing master data creation of new products in PLM/ERP, data extension of existing products PLM/ERP and master data updates of existing products PLM/ERP within agreed SLAs.
+ Daily monitoring and administration of workflows to ensure requests get completed a within defined SLAs
+ Daily support to sites with product master data queries and problems
+ Regular review of product master data records to ensure compliance with global policies
+ Performing data analysis and execution of mass maintenance requests
+ Developing and conducting communication and training to stakeholders
+ Supporting the business with any product master data projects, such as line moves or acquisitions
+ Supporting and mentor the Master Data Specialists
+ Monitoring, controlling & authorizing of ERP/PLM roles relative to product master data elements
**The essential requirements of the job include:**
+ Min. 2 years of experience in a Master Data or related role, min. 3 years of experience in industrial processes
+ High School Diploma or Equivalent.
+ Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
+ Experience with PLM (Agile PLM) and ERP systems (Oracle EBS/Cloud), or equivalent.
+ Ability to read, write, and speak English is required. Bilingual language skills are a plus.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $70000 - $85000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
