ASSA ABLOY is looking for a Senior Master Scheduler to join our team! This position will be based onsite out of our manufacturing plant located in Tijuana, Mexico.

What would you do as our Senior Master Scheduler?

You will serve as a key point of contact for expedited requests, order changes, and customer inquiries, collaborating closely with operations to optimize production efficiency. Your focus will be on achieving the lowest days to ship, highest order fill rate, and maximum agility to enhance overall customer satisfaction. This role will focus efforts in 3 main areas: Production & Scheduling Management, Operational & Performance Monitoring, and Customer & Cross-Functional Collaboration.

 

You would also:

Develop and review production plans to ensure alignment with demand. Conduct production mix analysis to optimize capacity utilization. Monitor quick ship and OFR (order fill rate) orders to ensure timely fulfillment. Oversee expedited order requirements, analyzing feasibility and confirming execution. Participate in MDI (managing for daily improvement) staff meetings and lead MDI Planning to drive operational efficiency. Conduct Gemba walks to monitor production flow. Perform Layered Process Audits to ensure compliance with operational standards. Support BPS (Business Process Support) initiatives weekly to drive continuous improvement. Conduct customer service follow-ups to address order status and expedite requests. Review and manage month-end order processing to meet shipping deadlines. Participate in SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) monthly meetings to align supply and demand. Other duties as required/assigned. Continually promotes a safe and harmonious working environment, demonstrating strict adherence to the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct and ASSA ABLOY Health & Safety Policy

 

 

The Skills and Experience you need:

Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain degree preferred coupled with 5 years of experience in a similar function within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with manufacturing management ERP systems, with a preference for JD Edwards. Proficient in inventory control techniques, ensuring efficient material management and stock accuracy. Self-motivated and able to work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills with minimal supervision. Highly organized with the ability to set and manage priorities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and deadlines are met. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Adaptable and quick to learn new systems and applications, supporting continuous process improvements and technology adoption.
