We are seeking an experienced Production Chemist to provide expertise on oil field chemicals and their interactions with materials in upstream oil and gas systems. This role will strengthen technical capabilities in client interactions and ensure effective chemical selection and application in projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production chemistry, material compatibility, and failure analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess interactions of oil field chemicals with materials (e.g., corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, elastomers). Identify chemical-induced degradation and propose mitigation strategies. Recommend materials and chemical treatments for production systems. Serve as a subject matter expert in client discussions. Translate complex chemical-material interactions into actionable recommendations. Advise on chemical applications based on operating conditions. Oversee lab testing for chemical performance and material compatibility. Diagnose and address chemical-induced material failures in the field. Develop protocols for chemical selection and monitoring. Provide training on oil field chemistry and material selection. Develop guidelines, reports, and best practices to standardize chemical treatments. Ensure compliance with industry standards (NACE, API, ISO). Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science. 5+ years of experience in production chemistry or materials science in oil & gas. Expertise in chemical impact on materials and corrosion mechanisms. Proficient in lab testing, chemical modeling, and failure analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborative and proactive team player.
