We believe great work comes from a strong set of values; you can expect to be a part of a workforce committed to generating a difference.    JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Material Handler is responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of yard operations to ensure efficient parts management and smooth workflow. We are seeking a driven individual with high energy and a passion for inventory control, operational processes, and quality assurance. The Handler is an integral member of the team and will collaborate with the Planning, Warehouse, and production teams to control and deliver materials needed for the manufacturing process as well as forecast material for upcoming projects . JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: + Organize and maintain yard storage areas, implementing proper labeling and organization systems to facilitate efficient picking and replenishment processes.  + Utilize MRP software (Dynamic 365) and our SharePoint to monitor inventory levels, track product demand from various departments. + Receive and inspect incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.  + Engage on a regular basis with the Planning, Warehouse, and Production teams to ensure accurate inventory forecasting, availability of materials, and timely order fulfillment occurs. + Execute inventory control procedures, conduct regular cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to maintain inventory at proper levels. + Prepare documentation to track and maintain product availability. + Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized yard, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.  + Examine forklifts daily and fill out a checklist. REQUIREMENTS: + High School Diploma or equivalent (required) + 1-3 years' experience in a manufacturing facility or a similar position + High School Diploma or equivalent is desired OR any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the job duties (required) + Have reliable attendance, be respectful and responsible at work. + Forklift Experience Required + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. + Advanced proficiency with executing inventory control procedures, conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to maintain inventory accuracy. + Computer proficient. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: + Ability to receive and inspect incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met. + Very skilled at organizing and maintaining yard storage areas including maintaining proper labeling and efficient picking and moving material where needed.  + Possess a high level of communication with frequent engagement with planning, warehouse, and production teams. + Ability to handle conflict and offer resolution. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  + Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.  + Strong time management skills. + Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized environment, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.   + Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment requires the employee to stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch throughout an 8-to-10-hour day.  + Strength to carry product, equipment, and tools up to 50 pounds and push or pull product up to 100 pounds.  + Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. + Ability to pass a background check and drug screening JTS is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
