Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Senior Materials Planner. This role will take place on-site at our El Paso, TX Facility. The Senior Materials Planner is responsible for material planning and execution, Inventory Value, DOH (Days on Hand), E&O (Excess & Obsolete) for each product line. This individual will work closely with the plant operations teams to deploy standard process and tools to optimize materials operations, manage Supplier leadership discussions, and escalations to buyers and Commodity Managers. This will include onsite support for driving continuous improvement and problem solving.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:Key Responsibilities
Monitor inventory transactions to ensure accurate and timely material processing.Identify and communicate potential delays or issues that may impact customer delivery.Create purchase orders and monitor material delivery schedules.Troubleshoot MRP (Material Requirements Planning) exceptions and ensure ERP discipline aligned with SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning).Lead material deviation processes related to quality, logistics, and discrepancies.Inventory & Planning Management
Review and manage shortage reports to ensure material availability.Control inventory value and identify opportunities to reduce overmax inventory.Conduct monthly min/max analysis to prevent shortages or excess stock.Maintain consignment levels and manage requests accordingly.Evaluate and recommend adjustments to planning parameters such as lot size, lead time, and safety stock.Ensure inventory items remain within defined min-max ranges.Maintain control over excess and obsolete materials.Review material and capacity requirements planning, along with logistics coordination.Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external customers.Lead discussions with suppliers to prevent disruptions in plant operations.Support the accounting department in improving key business metrics, processes, and controls.Maintain and analyze sales reports to assess risk and support decision-making.Perform other duties as required to support departmental and organizational goals.Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.Minimum two (2) years of experience in Supply Chain.Minimum one (1) year of experience in materials, sourcing, or purchasing.Minimum one (1) year of experience managing supplier relationships.Candidates must be legally authorized to work within the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of El Paso, TX will be considered.
