Senior Materials Planning Lead

Summary:


As a Senior Material Planner, you will lead the optimization and continuous improvement of material planning and supply chain processes within a manufacturing environment.

Your primary focus will be on managing materials' management projects from inception to deployment across multiple operational sites. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, purchasing, sales, and operations, to implement tools and processes that enhance material availability, capacity planning, and overall supply chain efficiency.

Additionally, you will act as a Subject-Matter Expert (SME) on key materials' management tools, develop comprehensive training materials, and conduct training sessions to support effective use and adoption.

Responsibilities:

Proven experience in material planning, procurement, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment, leading continuous improvement projects.

The individual holding this position will be the champion of leading projects for Materials Management optimization tools from project definition, justification, business case documentation and acquisitions to deployment in multiple operations Sites and adoption.

Need to understand the full scope of the tool, including requirements for the user teams for their effective use and utilization.

Project Planning and management

Subject of Matter Expert for Key tools, materials management processes, and solutions.

Integrate training material and participate as trainer in the OPEX Academy.

Elaborate Documentation and Playbooks.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5–7 years relevant experience.

Experience in industrial engineering in the materials' management function.

Ability to deal with complex contexts, efficiently planning material availability and capacities.

SAP ERP hands-on experience.

Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Sharepoint)

Strong organizational skills.

Adaptable and flexible.

Demonstrates ownership.

Ability to travel between 35% and 50% of the time to different Flowserve sites.


Preferred Experience / Skills:

Project Management experience.
