Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Project - Sustaining Capital Projects

Our client, an EPC company based in Perth CBD, is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to work on sustaining capital projects within the mining industry. 

The role responsibilities include:

Develop efficient and economical solutions for complex engineering challenges. Ensure compliance with engineering practices, regulatory requirements, and client specifications. Oversee resource planning, mentoring, and team performance management. Conduct engineering studies, analyses, and calculations, and prepare final documentation for client approval. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals and implement innovative solutions. What you’ll have: Significant experience in mechanical engineering with a strong understanding of industry standards, regulations, and codes. Expertise in FEED, technical disciplines, vendor management, and proposal development. Proficiency in relevant engineering tools and software such as Microsoft Office Suite and specialty design tools. Advanced technical knowledge with a strong background in mining or mineral processing projects, ideally with brownfields experience. A bachelor's degree in science or engineering, with professional licensing where required. Only candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered.
