Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Job Description: Join our dynamic Engineering & Architecture firm as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer! In this role, you'll design and evaluate integrated systems for industrial production processes, focusing on human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics, material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination. Responsibilities + Design and evaluate integrated systems for industrial production processes + Utilize software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Plant 3D for design purposes + Focus on human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics, and material flow + Conduct cost analysis and production coordination + Design building systems and facility layouts + Provide guidance and support to entry-level mechanical engineers + Focus on applying and finding conveyors that work rather than designing gears and belts Essential Skills + 8-10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering within the manufacturing/industrial setting + Proficiency in mechanical design and facility design + Strong skills in Revit and AutoCAD + Background in industrial design + Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred, but not mandatory Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with AutoCAD Electrical 3D and Mechanical 3D + Ability to become a resource for other engineers + In-house continuing education classes that provide credit for AIA, IIDA, RLA, & PE + Exam reimbursement upon successful completion Work Environment: + Design systems and facilities using tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and Plant 3D + Enjoy comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K plan, and multiple career advancement opportunities Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
