Job Summary:
As a Senior Mechanical Designer, you'll play a key role in creating detailed design solutions by leveraging your technical expertise. You'll collaborate with engineers, estimators, and clients to develop systems that meet specific project needs, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. From analyzing blueprints to conducting site surveys, you'll help bring projects to life, guiding junior staff and working closely with vendors to deliver outstanding results.\n
Responsibilities:\n\nDesign & Documentation:\n\nDevelop design concepts tailored to client needs.\nCreate detailed designs and coordinate with other trades and structures.\nAnalyze blueprints and prepare HVAC & plumbing calculations.\nGenerate proposals, reports, and studies.\n\n\nCollaboration & Support:\n\nConduct site surveys and interact with vendors to select equipment.\nCommunicate with clients to gather project data and ensure successful execution.\nLead and provide technical direction to mechanical designers and technicians.\nAttend project meetings and monitor progress.\n\n\n\n
Qualifications:\n\n5+ years of experience in mechanical design, including HVAC and plumbing.\nProficient with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Fabrication CADmep, Revit, and Carrier HAP.\nStrong understanding of mechanical building codes and construction standards.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to work under tight deadlines and pressure.\n\n
Education & Certification:\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's or technical degree preferred.\nValid Pennsylvania driver's license.\n5+ years of related experience in construction, HVAC, or plumbing.\n\n
Working Conditions:\n\nPhysical demands include office work and occasional fieldwork, requiring walking, standing, lifting (up to 25 lbs), and navigating job sites.\nOffice work is in a professional setting, while site surveys may involve climbing ladders and working on uneven surfaces.\n\n
