The Bosch unit in Ovar belongs to the Building Technologies division and is focused on bringing solutions to the market that are shaping the smart cities of the future. The company develops and produces innovative solutions for security and communication systems, fire alarms, electronic displays, robotic lawn mower & E-bike components. With about 1.200 employees, its success lies in the highly specialized and innovative team and technological know-how.
Job Description
Key areas of responsibility are:
Mechanical development for new products, considering functionality, industrialization, and cost-effectiveness.Setting up and implementing analyses to verify the design at different stages of product development.Conduct reliability testing and validation of mechanical designs.Align deliverables and deadlines with relevant stakeholders.Oversee the design and manufacturing of prototypes.Perform Failure Mode Analysis (i.e. DFMEA).Qualifications
What distinguishes you:
Familiarity with Product Development tools (DFMEA and FMEA).Proficiency in FEA analysis tools and mechanical test strategies.Knowledge of materials and related manufacturing processes.Experience with product and material certification.Skills and Qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering.5-10 years of experience in Mechanical Design.Proficiency in CAD software (CREO).Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including injection molding, sheet metal and machining.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Additional Information
