Kforce's client is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Tamarac, FL. Summary: The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design and planning of new and existing products by performing engineering duties and developing, designing and testing mechanical devices. Responsibilities: * Senior Mechanical Engineer designs, develops, and tests all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery * Responsible for planning, input, review, output, validation of, and changes of the design for assigned tasks * Maintain electronic job files as applicable to assigned tasks * Technical mechanical resource to Sales, Service and Production * Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design products such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc. * Involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and/or repair of mechanical products * Cross-trains designated back-ups * As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will create/modify 3D parts and assemblies * Create/modify 2d Mechanical Drawings * Mechanical Design Changes * Create/modify technical manuals * Creating/modify work instructions
