Looking to hire a Sr Mechanical Engineer for an exciting company that deals with Mission Critical projects!

Experience Required:

Mechanical (HVAC) Engineer - Plumbing and Fire Protection a plus4+ years of experience Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited University requiredLicensed P.E. preferred along with LEED CertificationExcellent written and oral communication skillsRecent experience with technically complex project typesAbility to work effectively with architects, engineers, consultants, and clientsProductively perform within a team environment on multiple design and construction A/E projectsAttention to detail and adherence to project schedule and deadlinesStrong understanding of all A/E disciplines, and project coordinationField Experience (understanding of construction principles, methods. and best practices)

 

Proficiency in:

AutoCAD MEP 3D, Navisworks, and Revit MEP to prepare construction documents and sketches in 3D environment,MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookBluebeam Revu, Procore, Prolog, etc.Available Client references

 

Position role and Responsibilities:

Assist with project design and development from concept through constructionAttend and participate in design and construction meetingsPrepare construction documents (drawings and specifications), addendum, bulletins, transmittals, etc.Review and respond to RFIs, submittals, and other communications. Issue response to contractorsTravel to project sites to conduct and collect data for evaluation, complete field surveys, construction observations, and punch listFamiliar with International, National, State and Local Codes, Rules, and Regulations, NYC Mechanical, Building, Energy Conservation, and Fire Protection codes as well as NFPA, NEC, etc International, National, State and Local Codes, Rules, and Regulations, NYC Mechanical, Building, Energy Conservation, and Fire Protection codes as well as NFPA, NEC, etcConduct engineering calculations, load calculations, equipment selection and sizing, etc.
