This is a senior level mechanical engineering position that will provide you with a variety of interesting and challenging responsibilities.
This will be an on site field support position.
You will be involved in nuclear power plant systems design, including preparation or review of:
Modification packages for operating nuclear power plantsFunctional mechanical drawings and/or drawings for nuclear power plant systemsEngineering analyses and evaluations to support modifications and operation of plant systemsTechnical specifications and procurement documents for plant equipmentVendor bid evaluations for plant equipmentStudies and options evaluations for modifications to operating nuclear power plants
Your time will be spent at the nuclear site in Waterford, Connecticut.

BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited programA minimum of 5 years of experience in the power industryWorking knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations that apply to mechanical engineering design of nuclear power plantsPE license is beneficial, but not required
