      Your role - In conjunction with the MEP Team Leadership:

Develop leads and secure projects in Thailand Lead projects across the associated markets within Thailand and the surrounding SEA region Develop robust, resilient and sustainable mechanical engineering solutions Maintain good relationship with industry networks, clients, architects, government agencies, JV partners, sub-consultants and construction contractors Work closely with the MEP Team Lead and Thailand Country Manager to develop the capability of the MEP team to effectively service the target markets Supervise / prepare proposals / submissions and negotiate contracts within the MEP Team's framework Minimize the firm's risk exposure via appropriate project management and OH&S procedures Ensure consistent completion of Mechanical Services projects within quality, budget and program expectations Develop and administer project monitoring and control mechanisms within the MEP Team Facilitate and coordinate design activities, processes and techanical standards within the MEP Team Undertake techanical reviews of MEP projects at appropriate stages to ensure quality, client satisfaction, cost reduction and Arup's delivery efficiency Collaborate with team leaders in the East Asia and Australia regions Participate in broader office, division and global activities as assigned Support and actively implement the Arup vision and strategy

  Is this role right for you?

Minimum of 15 years mechanical engineering experience in the built environment with expertise in infrastructure or building projects Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensed by the Council of Engineers Thailand  Recognized professional in the field with relevant memberships and industry registrations Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice and guidelines Experience to lead teams in the development, design and management of complex and long-term projects Considerable design experience in a consulting business environment Ability to represent the organization at high levels Well-developed commercial acumen Ability to maintain effectiveness under pressure
