The role
 
Are you a Senior Mechanical Engineer with extensive gold plant experience? Are you ready to take charge, lead by example, and apply your hands-on expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced environment?
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a small but driven team on some exciting projects in the gold processing sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide senior-level expertise in the maintenance and optimization of pumps, pipes, and rotating equipment.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality results and efficient operations.
- Work hands-on in the field, addressing complex mechanical issues and delivering practical solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.

What you'll need to succeed

-Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
-Significant experience in gold plant operations – this is essential.
-Some previous field-based engineering with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
-Deep knowledge of rotating equipment, pumps, and piping systems.
-A background working in the contractor space – we are not seeking candidates currently on the owner side.
