In this role, you will be working in the Subsea Production Controls Systems (PCS) business and you will develop products and provide solutions to meet client deliverables in the Subsea projects portfolio.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Engaging with relevant stakeholders (internal and external) developing and maintaining effective relationships/partnerships to meet project deliverableTasking ownership while working under the guidance of lead and controlled title engineers.Ensuring that product design conforms to the requirements specifications.Recognising opportunities for product development improvements and improved ways of workingPromoting Compliance, Quality & HSE integrity through developing succinct procedures, work instructions, product and process related documentation and creatively promote their use.Taking responsibility in working across global SPS Engineering Teams to deliver solutions to assigned work packages.Focusing on On-Time Delivery (OTD), whilst providing high quality engineering solutions, right first time principles philosophyBeing capable of executing FMEAs and participating in HAZOPs. Application of regional, subsea, DNV and pressure directive industrial standardsHaving the ability to flex and take on subsea instrumentation products package engineering

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

Have HNC/D or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentHave at least 10 years of project package engineering experience and detailed hydraulic and mechanical engineering knowledgeBe proficient using MS Office applications, MathCad, AutoCAD, CreO/ProE/3D software and TeamCenter.Be capable of interfacing with the client to represent the Baker Hughes
