Accredited engineering degree with emphasis in mechanical or structural engineering
6+ years of experience in mechanical or structural engineering
Proficient in 3D design; 2D design experience a plus
Experience with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks
Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
Experience in bill-of-material management on drawings and within ERP systems
Experience with structured release environments, including new releases and engineering change notices (ECN)
Job ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical design of parts and assemblies for fabrication and production
Apply industry codes and standards to ensure compliance
Review and interpret customer specifications
Design and document components involving burning, machining, forming, weldments, sheet metal, castings, and forgings
Engineer structural and mechanical connections including bolted, pinned, and welded joints
Maintain and manage BOM accuracy across design documentation and ERP systems
Support release processes and document changes through engineering change notices
Preferred SkillsStrong knowledge of industry codes and standards
Familiarity with mechanical production methods
Understanding of structural and mechanical connection types
Ability to work within a structured team design environment
Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
