In the role of Senior Mechanical Engineer (Hydropower), we'll count on you to:Coordinate the work of design engineers with the balance of a multidiscipline team throughout the entire project's developmentDevelop hydro-mechanical project solutions for both modernization and new projects.Perform engineering consulting, including condition assessments, studies, mechanical engineering and detailed design, calculations, and specification development.Establish client relations and participate in marketing, design, and production meetingsAssume technical lead within a project execution teamParticipate in reviews with various governing agencies for code complianceConduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at the project site in conjunction with the Project Manager and other disciplinesCoordinate workload throughout the project to complete project deliverables on scheduleEvaluating field installations and recommending design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.Work with Project Manager and Project Controller on project reviews with management as neededProvide field support during construction.Provide support in developing proposals.Direct the activities of other engineering professionals and act as a mentor to other staff members as neededPerform other duties as needed
