What You'll Do

Management of multi-discipline engineering projects from concept through completion Track and manage project budget Develop project workplans, tasks and assignments Develop the ability to anticipate and control project workflow Track and measure performance against goals Project team leadership and discipline project management, complete the project on time within budget Responsible for the preparation of deliverable documents including narratives, calculations, drawings and specifications Independently evaluate and apply engineering judgment, techniques, and procedures to complete a project from concepts through construction Oversee engineering calculations and equipment selection Review opinions of probable construction costs Assemble effective project teams; provide training, guidance and development for staff Advanced understanding of interdisciplinary coordination Write specifications; provide updates to master specifications and standards, and improve company processes Develop client relationships Participate on firm leadership committees Oversee the application of the project quality management plan (QMP) May be responsible as the Engineer of Record (EOR)

 

What You Bring

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering for discipline work Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred LEED accreditation Minimum 6-10 years’ related work in the AEC/built environment required Advanced understanding of mechanical engineering concepts, able to effectively communicate design options Advanced understanding of the application of building codes and mechanical industry standards Ability to serve as a technical resource for the company Attention to detail and advanced organizational skills Strong delegation skills and experience running and assembling and run a team Demonstrate commitment to PAE Microsoft Office Suite Limited AutoCAD/Revit and Easy Power

 

What We Offer 

 

Hiring Base Salary Range: $106,300 - $146,000 annual  This position is eligible for straight time overtime pay 

 

The base salary is one component of PAE’s competitive compensation package for employees. We take into consideration a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, internal equity and geographic location in determining exact salary offered. At PAE, roles are eligible for additional rewards, including salary increases and annual bonuses based on individual performance. The above range represents PAE's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
