Senior Mechanical Engineer - Propeller Shaft

Who are you?

Do you dream big? We do too, and we are excited to grow together. In this role, you will bring: 

  Extensive experience with key processes and tools in New Product Development, such as PLM, Change Requests, CAD design, and Tolerance Stack-up analysis.

  Proven expertise in Verification & Validation methodologies, including virtual analysis, testing, root cause analysis (RCA), FMEA, materials analysis, and structural analysis.

  Experience in resolving field quality issues, ensuring product performance and reliability.

  Leadership in defining technical strategies and policies both internally and with suppliers, guiding long-term development goals.

  Lead global cross-functional teams in component development, collaborating with GTO, AM, suppliers, purchasing, and other engineering functions.

  Drive cost improvement initiatives (VAVE) and the localization of components to optimize production.

  Thorough understanding of DVVP (Design Validation and Verification Plan) for propeller shafts, assembly, and component-level testing.

Soft skills

  Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across diverse teams and locations, including the ability to work with people from different parts of the globe and time zones.

  Strong networking abilities, cultivating relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to drive project success.

  Self-driven and highly motivated, consistently delivering results while maintaining a proactive approach to challenges and opportunities.
