PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking candidates for a Senior Mechanical Estimator. Can work in either Appleton, WI., Kansas City, Mo., or St. Louis, Mo.
 
Job Title: Senior Mechanical Estimator
Job Type: Full time; Contract (6 months)
Location: candidate can sit in office in Appleton, WI - Kansas City, MO - St. Louis, MO)
Schedule:  Monday to Friday; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Onsite
Pay Rate: $43.00-$50.00 per hour

Job Summary

The candidate will work as a Senior Mechanical Estimator responsible for leading complex multi-discipline estimates for field and pre-fabrication construction projects. They will consult with clients and other stakeholders to formulate estimates and manage cost estimating processes while ensuring accuracy and minimizing risk.

Skill Requirements

Mechanical Estimating experience

Fluency in Excel, including data models, pivot tables, data manipulation, Vlookups/Xlookups, and formula creation

Familiarity with software such as Bluebeam Xtreme, Navisworks Freedom 3D model viewer/manipulate, SharePoint/Teams, Power BI, OneNote

Experience with estimating software like InEight or Accubid

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field and 7 years of direct project Mechanical estimating experience Required or Applicable experience may be substituted for degree requirement Required. 

Preferred:

Knowledge of other software like Quotesoft or Oracle

Strong analytical skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to handle large volumes of work and multitask

Pay Details: $43.00 to $50.00 per hour
