NVIDIA is looking for an experienced HW Mechanical Engineer to join the IC Product Engineering HW team and to lead the mechanical design and execution of test boards, system level testing mechanical interfaces and HTOL for IC products. What you'll be doing:
Full responsibility for mechanical electrical specification, Mechanical Optical connectors and interfaces, schematic design, OrCAD tools, Socket and thermal design solutions, components selection and layout considerationsExtensive lab bring-up and debugging, thermal and mechanical constrain for the testing platform efficiently implemented in the Production floor, robustness sockets solution considering high speed constrainsWork with multiple R&D and Production groups: Optical interfaces, Board design, System level testing team, Signal Integrity, Layout, Firmware and TestingWork with the most advantage ATE product in the market - UF and UF Plus Tester & Prober - cutting edge sockets and thermal solutions for high PWR devicesHTOL - High-temperature operating life - leading HW platform of reliability testsWork with optical interfaces systems on production ATE equipment, new design concept for future productsWhat we need to see:
B.Sc. in Mechanical EngineeringAt least 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer working on Cad platforms with board design teamProject Management skillsExperience with Optical - electrical interfacesExperience with Digital circuits, Power and High-speed designAdvantages: system-level understanding and familiarity with production environment - SLT and final testPersonal skills: Self-instruction, Multi-disciplined, Multi-Tasking and good interpersonal relationshipNVIDIA has some of the most talented and forward-thinking individuals in the world working for us.
