The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) team is seeking a Senior Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer to join our team in Tukwila, CA. The team is responsible for design and build and performing design engineering for flight test and design modification and instrumentation of military and commercial derivative aircrafts.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Lead and provide technical quality review of the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid systems and thermal environment to establish the system designLead activities to validate and verify mechanical and fluid systems requirementsLead the development, maintenance or modification of system components' designs/proposals to provide installation and detail documentationPerform and document analysesManage supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goalsPrioritize, delegate and track performance and documentation of analyses of mechanisms/landing gear/ordnance components and systems selecting appropriate methods to validate or assess the design.Support proposal preparation and new business development efforts.Train and coach others.Work under minimal directionBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 5+ years of experience in design engineering5+ years of experience with a design tool (CAD package) like Siemens NX, CATIA, etc.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams, a strong desire to work with technical and non-technical audiences, and be a self-starterExperience in Test and Evaluation EngineeringKnowledge of machine shop fabrication capabilities including conventional & CNC machining, EDM, fit/finish tools & processes, and QA inspectionDrug Free Workplace:

Summary pay range: $124,100 – $167,900
