Senior Medical Education Lab Associate
Work Flexibility: Onsite

Who we want:

As a Senior Medical Education Lab Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the hands-on training and development activities of the Joint Replacement Medical Education Team with a specific focus on supporting the Training Center laboratory and programs. Support Training Center equipment, supplies, and facility needs. Assist the Training Laboratory Manager in organizing and executing the programs at the Center. Provide input, preparation, and on-site support for the hands-on components of field-based JR Medical Education programs.

This is an on-site role based in our Mahwah, NJ, office. You will be required to work every other Saturday and travel 2-3 days per month throughout the United States.

 

What you will do:

Support the Medical Education and Marketing teams by executing educational events.

Manage the on-site execution of the hands-on simulations, including the site interactions, staff, and contractors.

Develop and foster relationships with customers through professional and timely communication (verbal and written).

Identify critical customer needs and preferences.

Collaborate and participate with the JR Medical Education Team to continuously improve and develop new programs supporting the business objectives.

Developing technical competency in divisional product offering and procedural flow.

Growing understanding of competitive landscape.

Understand the primary and secondary customer groups.

Growing understanding of educational program design.

Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication. 

Initiates/creates work group(s) to complete tasks as needed.

Coordinate scheduling, servicing, testing, packing, shipment and receipt of equipment. Order disposable products for shows, labs, and educational events, maintain inventory and forecasting.  Coordinates delivery, removal and safe disposal (demo, simulators/ tissue.).

Responsible for all compliance requirements and necessary paperwork is completed. (i.e. grants/donations)..

Organize and execute hands-on training programs.

Work with leadership and program managers to design and deliver surgical simulations to achieve stated educational objectives of programs.

Gather and track the data/information from each program.

Growing understanding of our medical education and business strategy.

Assemble budget worksheets, maintain log of expenses and final budget analysis.

Identify opportunities to decrease costs by evaluating current programs, processes, and associated costs.

Understand who are the key KOLs and how to communicate program logistics.

Assist in the development of new processes and procedures to maximize the ability to meet customer needs.

Provide customer feedback to Medical Education leadership.

Collaborate with the teams throughout the corporation utilizing the lab to ensure the best educational experience.

Demonstrates ownership and prioritizes work with minimal supervision.

What you need:

Required

Bachelor’s degree

2+ years of work experience

Preferred

1+ years of related experience as an AMPS, MPS

Experience in a customer-facing role or related role

Experience with vendor and training site negotiations.

Experience with interactions with sales, marketing, and R&D partners.

Experience working with HCP consultants and customers

Experience managing multiple projects while delivering on established timelines

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)

Travel Percentage: 20%
