**What you will do**
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. This position is within the Oncology Medical Liaison team. In this vital role, you will interact with healthcare decision-makers to communicate and advance the scientific platform as aligned with Amgen’s corporate goals and objectives. The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) plays an integral role in assuring accurate, clear, and valued information regarding our science and products at multiple levels within the medical community. A successful Medical Science Liaison will communicate complex cutting-edge scientific information and research concepts to healthcare decision-makers, including but not limited to those at academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, community clinicians, accountable care organizations, and regional health systems. The role may also include providing clinical and economic value information to payers and formulary and pathway decision-makers. The MSL is also responsible for identifying and training members of Amgen’s speaker bureau to ensure they are updated on new data. In addition, the MSL will provide feedback based on field interactions and scientific support consistent with Amgen research and product support-specific roles and duties.

+ Provide clinical and economic value information to payers and formulary and pathway decision-makers.
+ Identify and train members of Amgen’s speaker’s bureau and ensure they are updated on new data.
+ Facilitate the submission of investigator-sponsored research proposals; support Amgen-sponsored research.
+ Provide feedback based on field interactions with healthcare thought leaders.
+ Provides scientific support consistent with the MSL compliance standards for sales and corporate accounts and other matrix colleagues facilitate HCP inquiries.
+ Foster scientific relationships between Amgen and fellows in training.
+ Lead and or participate on committees or project teams that support MSL strategies and tactics as delegated by MSL leadership.
+ Seek out opportunities to support the MSL value proposition achieve results and set an example for others to follow by consistently demonstrating Amgen values and leadership attributes.
+ Demonstrate tact and organizational savvy when communicating and interacting with others.
+ The Medical Science Liaison will model openness and innovation through words, actions, and decisions. **Basic Qualifications:**
Doctorate degree & 2 years of Regional Medical Liaison experience or
Master’s degree & 6 years of Regional Medical Liaison experience or
Bachelor’s degree & 8 years of Regional Medical Liaison experience
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Pharm. D., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O. (Other doctoral degrees are considered.)
+ 7 or more years of experience in a medically related field, including 1 or more years focused on clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research.
+ Experience in a medically related field can include post-doctoral training (e.g., residencies and/or fellowships).
+ 3 + years in a medical science liaison role in a biotech or pharmaceutical company
+ Current experience in Scientific Affairs or Medical Affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company
+ Oncology therapeutic area expertise
