The Global Digital Hub has newly been established within Roche Services & Solutions Center. Our main purpose is to strengthen the digital capabilities of Roche globally by supporting central initiatives with Social Media Management, Brand Support, Digital Publishing Services, Marketing Automation, Copywriting and Creative Design.

The Opportunity:

As a member of the Global Digital Hub Team, you will work to ensure fulfillment of the Global Digital Hub long term outcomes and strategy as well as excellent delivery of content creation priorities. As a Senior Medical writer, you will support the growing medical writing team within Roche Services & Solution Centre in developing medical writing & digital content solutions for our business partners. You are responsible for formulating and identifying current and future content needs and lead the development of different content creation initiatives. In addition,you work with relevant stakeholders to ensure the effective deployment of resources and tools to support and ensure that writing activities are conducted efficiently, cost-effectively, and in accordance with the business needs. The Senior Medical Writer has responsibility for developing and coordinating the content strategy of various business partners. This critical position has a global scope.

In this position you will be focusing on:

Applying your broad knowledge of medical writing for the pharmaceutical industry, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including medical, scientific, and commercial partners, to understand client needs and develop tailored and effective scientific content for digital implementation.

Managing multiple concurrent projects across a range of therapeutic areas, delivering on agreed timelines.

Ensuring that the content, format and structure comply with regulatory and other guidelines, as well as with Roche best practices

Monitoring assigned tasks and manage own workload, taking ownership and anticipating capacity issues and potential solutions.

As a trained and experienced senior medical writer you will provide mentorship and technical coaching to other medical writers in the team, as well as new writers joining the team.

Your role will require taking responsibility and ownership for upholding the highest standards of scientific accuracy, quality and compliance with all applicable industry guidelines, local and international.

Who you are:

You own an advanced degree in a biological science or medical discipline.

You have 7+ of medical writing experience, ideally within an agency setting.

You have native-level written and spoken English and additional languages are an advantage.

You pay excellent attention to detail, consistency, clarity and scientific rigor.

You have customer-service mentality and can-do attitude.
