About This Role
As our new Senior Medical Writer you will provide medical writing support for clinical and regulatory documents. You will interact with other medical writers, document quality reviewers, and cross-functional teams as you create, author, and manage documentation required for the conduct of clinical trials and regulatory submissions.
A successful candidate will participate in cross-functional teams, and may lead strategy discussions related to document development and influence decision making.

Independently prepare moderately complex clinical documents for one or more programsCoordinate preparation of clinical documents by other writers with minimal supervisionRepresent the Medical Writing department on cross-function teamsLead document-related meetingsReview statistical analysis plans and clinical data reports, as neededMentor junior writers on department processes related to document preparationParticipate on departmental initiativesQualificationsRequired Skills
Master’s required in a life science or health discipline1+ years regulatory writing experience within a life science organizationAbility to interpret dataSolid understanding of standard clinical document typesSolid understanding of internal and external guidelines related to document preparationStrong written and oral communication skillsStrong organizational and meeting skillsPreferred Skills
PhDAdditional InformationThe base compensation range for this role is $86,000 - $133,000. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, job related years of relevant experience, internal equity, and location of the job. Additionally, this role is eligible for participation in Biogen’s LTI grants and other incentive programs.
