OCI's Compute Control Plane is the central nervous system for OCI. Our services enable customers to manage the worldwide compute resources that power their businesses. Our APIs help customers manage their fleet, and our back-end services proactively monitor and provide self-healing capabilities for maximum fleet availability.
We're looking for developers with experience in distributed systems and highly available services. These are exciting times in our space - we are growing fast and working on ambitious new initiatives. An engineer at any level can have significant technical and business impact. That could be you.
As a Sr Member of Technical Staff you will own the software design and development for major components of the OCI Compute Control Plane. You will need to dive deep into any part of the stack and low level systems, as well as design broad distributed system interactions. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.
About You
- You work backward, starting from the user. You care about creating usable, useful software that solves real problems.
- You have always been known for the quality of your code and the care you take to provide appropriate test fixtures for that code.
- You are comfortable with ambiguity. You have a strong sense of ownership, but you are not afraid to ask questions early and often.
- You have solid communication skills. You can clearly explain complex technical concepts.
