Education & Licensure

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license PE stamp VT with ability to get NY and NH Stamps.

 

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience designing MEP systems for commercial buildings. Proficiency in Revit for drafting and modeling a strong desire but not a requirement Creative mindset to tailor solutions to each project’s unique needs.

 

Duties

Energy-Efficient Design:

Lead the design and development of HVAC and electrical systems for commercial and industrial buildings. Implement sustainable practices while ensuring practical functionality. Optimize energy consumption through innovative solutions.

Project Leadership:

Manage MEP projects from concept to completion. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate MEP systems seamlessly. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Technical Expertise:

Oversee and conduct calculations for MEP systems. Utilize advanced modeling tools (such as Revit) to visualize designs. Evaluate and recommend energy-efficient technologies.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with architects and other engineers. Communicate design concepts effectively to clients and project stakeholders. Foster a culture of innovation and practical problem-solving.

Quality Assurance:

Review construction documents, specifications, and submittals. Perform site visits to ensure design implementation aligns with practical requirements. Address any design modifications promptly.
