We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Merchandiser.

Department overview:

Part of the Merchandising Team, responsible for pricing and product needs, whilst supporting the wholesale channel. The role includes understanding the regional trends & product successes to define product assortments that will meet and exceed the financial strategies of the business.

What You’ll Do:

SUPPORT THE OVERALL REGIONAL MERCHANDISING STRATEGY

Full ownership and lead point of contact for the Accessories Divisions, overseen by the Director.Nurtures and develops direct collaboration and communication with Global Merchandising on ensuring EMEA omnichannel product needs are met.Responsible for data analysis across reporting, including monthly, seasonal and ad hoc analysis. Has a clear understanding of different market demands, sales trends, and product performance. Owns reviewing, reporting analysis by junior members of the team. Proactive in enhancing reporting processes and attribution.Support in developing annual/seasonal range plans based on sell-in/out and competition analysis.Leads in Global Alignment strategy meetings, giving clear feedback on strategic decisions and EMEA-specific needs.Responsible for the seasonal Demand Plan.Proactively identifies product opportunities to drive division growth. New products, exclusives and seasonal SWOTs. Consistently monitoring trends, fashion shows and key industry news.Owns, updates and maintains the MD masterfile, managing product lifecycle strategy and giving clear communication to the wider team.Manages the day-to-day of junior members of the team, supports their developmentTakes on additional projects with other business areas to improve efficiencies and ways of working.

SEASONAL MARKETS

Key department contact for all Whls teams.Works on the Sample Budget, actively looking for ways to reduce costs.Owns sample split ensuring a regionally appropriate assortment is delivered to each showroom, looking to reduce costs where possible.Guides VM on ideal showroom set up.Builds Sales Presentation and presents strategy to the wider team, also walking through the product.Creates compelling content for Trendbook, including strong outfitting & group shots.Maintain the style master, line sheet and imagery portal, cascading info to the wholesale teamEditing and product assortments: Develops compelling ranges across divisions that respond to varied channel, regional and KPI challengesSets up pricing IMU/Costing files, adds carryover prices and provides an initial view on pricing for new styles.Attends key Cross Divisional & Assortment Alignment meetings in marketWorks with the Director on ProjectionsResponsible for buy role up & submission, SOO commentary & ATS utilization.Creates a buy summary topline view for Finance.Collaborating with Sales on Key Accounts assortments - sign off and advise on selection.

You’ll Need to Have:

Strong experience working in a retail or wholesale merchandising/Buying teamComputer literate, proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent verbal and written EnglishProduct knowledge and trend awarenessDigital sensitivity. Ideally, with experience using or setting up digital showrooms
