From multinationals to mom-and-pop shops, they produce the delicious food that we deliver to our consumers every day, and Taiwan’s restaurant ecosystem and vibrant food culture are why Uber Eats in Taiwan has grown to be one of our top 4 most successful markets globally. The **Merchant team** reports directly to the General Manager of Uber Eats Taiwan and covers strategy, sales, account management, and operations. **About the Role** Uber Eats Taiwan is looking for a passionate, well-rounded, entrepreneur Senior Operations Manager to join the Merchant Experience Team and be in charge of Taiwan merchant sustainability. You will be responsible for building the data foundation for Taiwan merchant sustainability, shaping packaging transitioning framework and go-to-market strategy, and planning with internal and external stakeholders to drive awareness. The goal is to contribute to Uber Eats’ global commitment to sustainability by implementing local initiatives to create impact to the environment. You will largely work with multiple internal cross-geo stakeholders, including Taiwan operation teams, sales teams, and PLC (Policy, Legal, Comms) teams, Global sustainability team, and APAC and EMEA POCs. You will also work with external stakeholders, including consulting firms, university, and the government who are critical for shaping the direction and helping drive awareness to merchants and eaters. **Your Impact** - Build the data foundation and scalable approaches for data collection and verification. - Own the progress KPI and manage different channels for data collection, improve the data collection and verification efficiency and data accuracy rate. - Drive continuous alignment with Global teams, local teams, and external stakeholders on sustainability definition, verification rules, and corporate priorities. - Initiate, enable, and track progress of merchant packaging transitioning. - Own the progress KPI and strategize methods to reach the target for transitioning. - Plan for and allocate program resources to incentivize merchants for transitioning. - Enable the transition by building program infrastructure, including but not limited to effective progress tracking, merchant contract process, payment and invoicing process, and materials for pitching. - Drive progress for awareness projects with internal and external stakeholders. **The Experience You’ll Bring:** - Demonstrated experience in strategy operations, program management, or other related fields. - Proficiency in Google Sheets/ Excel with analysis skills. - Ability to communicate and persuade effectively to multiple stakeholders. - Advanced English and Mandarin proficiency. - Demonstrated drive for continuous improvement, willingness to take calculated risks, and perseverance in the face of challenges. - Proven track record of developing and presenting strategies to senior leadership, and executing strategic initiatives with sales teams from a large organization. **Ideal Characteristics**: - 6+ years of experience in strategy operations, e-commerce or online marketplace, or other related fields. - Experience in 0-1 business foundation building, initiating and executing scalable expansion strategies. - Ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities through innovative collaboration models.
