Senior Mobile Apps Developer

This position is part of a software development team developing and supporting tolling back-office products. These industry leading products support the collection of tolls and the associated operations for a number of the country’s largest tolling agencies. This position is responsible for analysis, design, coding, integration, test & maintenance of software modules used in the tolling back-office system. Scope of the position includes: + Translate the project requirement to take the form of a mobile application, through clean coding + Design the next-gen models of apps with high-quality mobile and application development + Manage the entire evolution process of the app, from ideation to execution and improvisation + Collaborate with other mobile app engineers within the team to deliver the best solutions. + Perform periodic testing and improve the usability of the mobile app + Build the design interface as per the client’s needs + Fix bugs and other performance issues as an iOS and Android mobile developer + Develop new features as a mobile software developer + Collaborate with other junior mobile app developers, back-end and front-end developers and designers through the lifecycle of the app + Communicate with the users to understand their exact requirements Experience: + Minimum 10 years of experience in mobile app development with a strong portfolio of successful iOS and Android applications. + Extensive experience with native development (Swift, Kotlin) and cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Cordova). + Experience with Xcode (iOS) and Android Studio (Android). + Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration techniques. + Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration. + Understanding of unit testing and UI testing frameworks (e.g., XCTest, Espresso). + Experience with local databases like SQLite or Realm and remote data handling. + UI/UX Design Principles: Knowledge of mobile design guidelines and best practices. + Proficient in RESTful APIs and third-party libraries. + Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Firebase) and mobile app security best practices. + Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and solve complex issues. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders. + Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently. + Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and supporting others. + Experience with a recognized software development lifecycle methodology + Good interpersonal skills to interface successfully with an onshore project manager, clients and office personnel + Creative problem-solving skills Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science (M.S. in computer science preferred) or related field and 10 plus years of industry experience, including some technical leadership. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $96,250 - $125,000.
